The Silver Tray Award is a very distinguished, nostalgic award given by the Indiana Angus Auxiliary to young men or women in the Indiana Junior Angus Association. The representative receiving this award demonstrates leadership and involvement in her community as well as local, state and national levels of the livestock industry.

In the Spring, Hunter graduated from McCutcheon high school and is attending Oklahoma State University this fall majoring in Agricultural Communications. She is also currently the Indiana Junior Angus Association Treasurer and Indiana Angus Queen.
