This past Saturday, the Southern Indiana Angus Association held their annual Angus Sale in Little York, Indiana. Full sale results are posted below, courtesy of SIAA President Loran Wilson. Congratulations to all SIAA members and leadership on a successful sale!

There were a total of 17 consignors who sold 69 lots that grossed $170,505 for an average of $2471/lot.
The top selling open heifer was lot 1A, a Jan 2016 daughter out of EXAR Resistol consigned by Black Gold Genetics who sold for $4,000.
The top 2-yr old heifer was lot 35, a Jan 2015 daughter of PVF Insight who sold with a Mar 8 heifer calf at side. She was consigned by Sherman Angus and sold for $4,000.
Top bull was lot 11, a Jan 2016 son of S S Niagara consigned by Everhart Cattle who sold for $3,600.
Top bred cow was lot 2, a Jan 2009 daughter of S A V Final Answer consigned by Todd & Craig Angus and sold for $3,750.
Top cow/calf pair was lot 63, a Mar 2013 daughter of B C C Bushwacker with an Aug 2016 heifer calf sired by BC Lookout consigned by NicKatie Farms. They sold for $5,000.
There was a standing room only crowd and bidding was active from start to finish.
The prestigious Breeder of the Year award in memory of Dickie Isaacs was presented to the Rex Kovert family of Spring Valley Farm in Crothersville, IN.
The sale was managed by Gold Buckle Cattle Services from West Salem, IL.
