2020 Angus Convention Modified

The 2020 Angus Convention and Trade Show has been modified from the original format. Join us for the 137th Angus Annual Meeting in Kansas City or online – your choice. The American Angus Association has made the difficult decision to reformat the 2020 Angus Convention originally scheduled for Nov. 7-9 in Kansas City, Missouri. This innovative solution during an unprecedented time was not taken lightly, which ties into our slogan of "Moving Forward". The health and safety of our members, guests and staff is our top priority. While we were looking forward our traditional Angus Convention, it was important we keep our focus on simply conducting business of the Association this year. While the trade show and entertainment have been cancelled, we will be moving ahead with the 137th Annual Meeting, held Nov. 8-9 at the Kansas City Convention Center. The 137th Annual Meeting will provide a modified line up of high-quality education, without compromising the safety and security of those in attendance. Socially distanced educational sessions and an awards dinner will be hosted on Sunday, Nov. 8. We look forward to industry updates from thought-leaders and Association staff. If you can't attend in person, make sure to join us virtually. Thank you for your support of the Business Breed and we look forward to seeing our delegates and Angus enthusiasts in November. Register What if I have already registered and need to modify to a virtual registration, or need a refund for a ticketed event? Please email events@angus.org with your modifications or call the office at 816.383.5100 and ask for the Events and Education department. What if I have already registered, but cannot attend now? If you've already registered please email events@angus.org by Oct. 1 for a refund.   COVID-19 Guidelines: While the plan is in motion today, we continue to explore different scenarios to be able to host the 137th Annual Meeting safely and responsibly. As we continue to evaluate the COVID-19 pandemic, we will be monitoring the CDC guidelines and working with Kansas City health officials. At this time, face coverings are required and seating will meet social distancing guidelines. Upon arrival to the convention center you will be required to sign a COVID-19 waiver. Please see our website for more information.
