Angus breeders led 153 entries at the 2019 All-American Angus Breeders’ Futurity Roll of Victory (ROV) Show, June 16 in Louisville, Ky. Scott Buchanan, Aldie, Va., evaluated 125 females, 20 bulls, and eight cow-calf pairs before choosing the winners.
FCF Phyllis 770 was named supreme champion and grand champion female. Tucker Bayer, Ringle, Wis., owns the October 2017 daughter of Silveiras Style 9303. She first won senior champion.
Reese Anderson, Chrisman, Ill., led the reserve grand champion female after winning late junior champion. DDA Barbara 1819 is a March 2018 daughter of S&R Roundtable J328.
WCC Chips F6 earned grand champion bull honors. Anne Patton Schubert, Taylorsville, Ky.; Wilson Cattle Company, Cloverdale, Ind.; and Wooden Shoe Farms, Blackfoot, Idaho, own the March 2018 son of EXAR Blue Chip 1877B. He first won junior champion.
QVS Insight 1954 was selected as the reserve grand champion bull. Callie Smith, Lebanon, Tenn., own the June 2017 son of PVF Insight 0129. He first won senior champion.
Holly Marsh, Union, Ill., owns the grand champion cow-calf pair with natural calf. Young Greiman Lady 439 is an April 2014 daughter of SCC First-In-Goal GAF 114. A January 2019 bull calf sired by TGM Compton 1738 completes the winning duo.
