Summer is in full swing. It seems like this year June was hotter than July. This year seem to bring enough rain at the right time. Hope all of your cattle have had plenty of shade and doing well. As summer finishes and autumn approaches it is time again for fall calving as well as our monthly SIAA meetings. Our program committee has put together a stellar group of speakers.
The first meeting of the fall will be Thursday, October 11, at The Pines Restaurant in Seymour and the guest speaker will be a Julie Brown, representative from Progressive Cattleman. Julie will be discussing how the Progressive Cattlemen reaches commercial cattlemen and strategies to help Angus producers sell cattle. Below is a list of this years scheduled speakers.
