Heifer Show
Champion Angus Female was a Bred & Owned heifer shown by Kade Patton of Frankfort.  She was Patton Blackbird 932 (16346779) – a 2/01/09 daughter of S A V Payroll 5281.  She was #3 Overall in the Top Five Placing for the show. Reserve Angus Female a Bred & Owned heifer shown by Garrett Knebel of Winamac.  She was Harmony Hill Sage 001 (16388798) – a 4/10/09 daughter of Dawson’s Cherokee 166.

Junior Angus Steer Show
The 2009 HBC Junior Angus Steer Show was judged by Brandon Callis of Texas A&M.  There were 17 Angus steers out of a total of 543 steers.  Angus steer numbers declined 10 (37%) from last year.
Champion Angus Steer was shown by Colby Judy of Greencastle.  He was W C C Predictor (16347678) - a 3/10/09 son of W C C Predictor R 156 – and weighed 824# at the show. This steer was bred by W C C Cattle Company of Cloverdale, IN Reserve Angus Steer was shown James Mitzner of Wahatah.  He was Hummel (16433543) – a 4/23/09 son of Duff New Edition 6108 – and weighed 690# at the show.  This steer was bred by Mary Susan Brown of Camden
